Telematics IE 2101 MAID, “Multimedia Assets for Industrial Design” (1995-1998)
MAID (Multimedia Assets for Industrial Design) designed, tested and demonstrated a system for designers and design-based companies.
A commercial Dutch based company was set up by the consortium providing 2 main services:
(a) Design Information Centre allowing interactive access to specialised information for industrial design;
(b) Design Services Centre providing a range of advanced services on remote execution and collaborative work.
Market already being exploited in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands with EU wide potential.
