ISTAR participate regularly in national and international R&D public funded projects. Additionally ISTAR’s members provide services for several external public or private stakeholders.

ISTAR aims at continuing a significant participation in National and EU R&D frameworks, notably, the Portuguese P2020 and Horizon 2020 programmes. We foster that our H2020 participation occurs in specific ICT, Societal Challenges, and in Marie-Curie calls, searching for an increasing number of submitted proposals and funded projects. Other funding instrument are equally addressed, such as AAL, ERASMUS+, Interreg EUROPE/Sudoe, COSME and LIFE. Funding from private companies and public institutions, via external services (applied research projects and studies) are also actively sought.
